More than 200 people from Aberdeen and beyond turned up to support a one-off Battle of the Bands event organised by Stronachs LLP and FG Burnett, raising more than £3,000 for Children in Need.

A LOCAL vinyl specialist has kindly donated a collection of rare and valuable records to be raffled off at a Battle of the Bands event organised by Stronachs LLP and FG Burnett for charity, Children in Need.

A group of cycling enthusiasts from Stronachs LLP survived torrential rain and bike malfunctions to endure the 175 mile cycle challenge, Ride the North and raise more than £4,500 for CLAN.

Stronachs LLP and FG Burnett will amp up their annual charity challenge this year as they prepare to go head-to-head in a “battle of the bands” event which continues an inter-office competition tradition to raise money for charity Children in Need.

CYCLING fanatics from Stronachs LLP are gearing up to take on 175 mile cycle challenge Ride the North for the sixth time, with a team that’s grown from a handful  to 15 over the last five years.

A ladies’ afternoon tea party organised by Stronachs LLP raised more than £10,000 for CLAN – seeing the law firm reach its annual target for its chosen charity in a matter of hours.

More than 80 women attended the sold out “Tea in the Park” event at Hazlehead Park, with guests contributing to CLAN through raffle tickets, bidding on auction prizes and taking part in games. 

A group of lawyers from Stronachs LLP are swapping their legal documents for sheet music as they prepare to deliver a one-off performance at a ladies’ afternoon tea party, organised by the law firm in honour of CLAN.

The “Tea in the Park” event will take place at The Park Cafe at Hazlehead Park on Friday, June 3, with all proceeds being contributed to CLAN, the law firm’s nominated charity for 2016.
Entertainment will be provided by an acoustic ensemble formed by Stronachs personnel. Partner Liz Stewart, will be the group’s lead singer with accompaniment on guitar and vocals from partner and solicitor advocate, Robert McDonald and solicitor Jamie Wilson.

A family run jewellery business in Inverurie has spent weeks designing and creating an exquisite bespoke necklace, to be auctioned at a fundraising event hosted by Stronachs LLP for local charity CLAN Cancer Support.

Steve Mitchell, goldsmith at Sinclairs in Inverurie, based the design of the necklace on the CLAN logo, with a 12 carat amethyst stone secured in a sterling silver setting and displayed on a twenty inch chain
