Colin, who leads Stronachs' Inverness office, is a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the Court of Session and Supreme Court. He is also a notary public.

With many years’ experience specialising in dispute resolution, Colin has a wealth of experience advising individuals and businesses with commercial disputes, from contractual issues to shareholder disagreements. He has a particular interest in property related claims, regularly advising on land ownership matters and commercial lease claims. Colin is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Colin also represents clients in relation to professional negligence and has experience over a number of years in matters involving industry regulators such as the Health & Safety Executive, Traffic Commissioner and Marine Accident Investigation Branch.

As well as litigating in the Courts, Colin regularly guides clients through alternative means of resolving disputes, including Mediation and Arbitration.

Much of Colin’s work is undertaken for clients in the energy, construction, hospitality and food and drink sectors.
