Stronachs’ corporate and private client strength reflected in latest Legal 500 guideStronachs’ corporate and private client strength reflected in latest Legal 500 guide

Stronachs LLP has once again been recognised in the Legal 500 – a global benchmarking platform for the legal sector.
Produced annually, the Legal 500 guide ranks lawyers and law firms based on extensive research, analysis and client feedback.
In the 2027 UK guide, Stronachs, which has offices in Aberdeen and Inverness, has retained its rankings for its work across Scotland in five key practice areas: corporate and commercial, oil and gas, private client, dispute resolution, and agriculture.
In addition to the law firm’s success, three Stronachs partners also received individual recognition, including two from the corporate team.
Partner Neil Forbes has retained his place in the prestigious Hall of Fame category, recognising his long-standing reputation as one of the leading lawyers in his field. The accolade is awarded to those who have received consistent praise from their clients for continued excellence.
Fellow corporate partner Callum Armstrong has once again been recognised as a Next Generation Partner, reflecting the strong recognition he has received from clients and peers, as well as his leading role in a number of significant matters.
Private client partner Jaclyn Russell has achieved Leading Partner recognition for the first time, building on her success in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide earlier this year.
In the 2026 Chambers guide, which ranks the top lawyers and law firms advising high net worth individuals and families around the world, Jaclyn was recognised as one of Scotland’s leading private client lawyers and one of only five Band 1-ranked practitioners in Aberdeen.
Both accolades reflect her standing as a well-respected private client lawyer, recognising her expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional service and high-quality advice to Stronachs’ clients.
Partner Jaclyn Russell said: “I am delighted to receive this recognition and to see the private client team retain its rankings. It is a fantastic reflection of the calibre of work we undertake and the expertise within the team.
“I am fortunate to work alongside such dedicated and talented colleagues – it is rewarding to see our efforts recognised. Thank you to our clients and professional contacts who took the time to provide their feedback on our work.”
Commenting on the results, Partner Neil Forbes added: “We are honoured to once again be recognised in the Legal 500 guide. The 2027 rankings highlight Stronachs’ consistency and reputation for advising businesses and business owners on complex legal matters across a wide range of practice areas.”
