Trainee Solicitors

Stronachs run a highly regarded Trainee Solicitor programme offering outstanding opportunities for up to five graduates each year.  Excellent training and prospects are available to ambitious candidates who are seeking to gain in-depth experience in a variety of practice areas.

Trainees have the opportunity to experience a broad range of both local and international work.  In our Aberdeen office, trainees have the opportunity to work in up to four different teams over the course of their traineeship in the areas of corporate law, commercial property law, dispute resolution, employment law, oil & gas law, private client and property.  Our Inverness based trainees have the opportunity to gain practical experience in Corporate Law, Dispute Resolution and Commercial Property work with some exposure to Private Client work also available over the course of the traineeship. In addition to this, there will be opportunities to learn about the other areas we specialise in including agriculture law, employment law, energy and residential property. 

We offer a competitive remuneration and benefits package. We pay above Law Society of Scotland recommended rates for trainees and, in addition, we pay a cash contribution to successful candidates at the start of the Diploma to assist with course fees.
