National Minimum Wage 2023/24

The Government has announced that the National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates will increase from 1 April 2023. The rates will increase as follows:
National Living Wage (per hour) Age 23+ | Standard adult NMW rate (per hour) Age 21-22 | Development NMW rate (per hour) Age 18-20 | Young workers NMW rate (per hour) Age 16-17 | Apprentice NMW rate (per hour) | Accommodation offset limit | |
2023/2024 | £10.42 | £10.18 | £7.49 | £5.28 | £5.28 | £9.10 |
2022/2023 | £9.50 | £9.18 | £6.83 | £4.81 | £4.81 | £8.70 |
These rates will remain in place for the tax year 2023/24.
