Acquisitions and Disposals

Including the purchase and sale of upstream energy companies, and more than 50 oil and gas fields with deal values aggregating billions of dollars.

Exploration Drilling and Appraisal

Acquisition of licences in the UKCS, Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the Americas, work on international drilling campaigns, and shale gas exploration.

Technology

From concept, through the protection of intellectual property rights and licensing and confidentiality agreements, FEED, contract negotiation and financing to business sale.

Development and Production Projects

Advising small and major energy operators on field developments including construction, transportation arrangements, FPSO contracts, facilities management contracts and product sales;

Decommissioning

CPI Award – Deborah Law

Deborah Law, partner in the dispute resolution team, has been awarded the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI). Deborah was one of eight candidates from England, Scotland and Wales to earn a merit and was ranked first of the Scottish candidates.
