Jaclyn leads the Private Client team at Stronachs LLP and brings over 15 years of expertise in tax and estate planning. She is dual accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in both Private Client Tax and Trusts Law. Jaclyn has a broad client base, including business owners, landed estate owners, farming families, and high-net-worth individuals.

Jaclyn advises clients on tax planning, wills, powers of attorney, living wills and trust and estate administration. She has a particular focus on the creation and management of trusts, particularly those established to manage personal injury awards. She has a significant practice in contentious trust and estate work and is skilled in estate and succession planning matters involving cross border elements.

She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having attained the STEP Diploma with Distinction. In 2015, she was awarded the STEP Trust and Executry Accounting Scottish Student of the Year Award and, in 2014, she achieved the STEP Trusts Law and Practice Scottish Student of the Year Award.

Jaclyn is also a former tutor of both the private client elective of the Diploma in Legal Practice and Revenue Law at the University of Aberdeen.
