The corporate team works closely with all of the firm’s other legal service disciplines, providing integrated support to clients ranging from listed companies to owner managed businesses and partnerships across Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Including the acquisition or disposal of businesses (by way of shares or assets), MBO / MBI transactions and joint ventures

Including advising investors, investee companies and management teams in respect of private equity and venture capital transactions
Insolvency / Restructuring
Including pre-insolvency advice and restructuring, advice in relation to receivership, administration and other creditor or member led insolvency processes, and solvent group reorganisations

Including support and advice for new business ventures, drafting or updating constitutional documents, ongoing corporate, company secretarial and commercial support for companies, partnerships and LLPs and dealing with shareholder or other stakeholder disputes

CPI Award – Deborah Law
Deborah Law, partner in the dispute resolution team, has been awarded the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI). Deborah was one of eight candidates from England, Scotland and Wales to earn a merit and was ranked first of the Scottish candidates.
Promotions June 2023
